Position Title: Recruitment Associate

JOB SUMMARY: (Brief description of why the position exists or the overall purpose of the job.)
Technical Recruiter responsibilities include sourcing, screening, and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles. You will also network online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire and ensure we attract the best professionals. Ultimately, you will build a strong tech talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for our IT positions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review. Successfully review job descriptions to understand the needs of the hiring manager as well as to ask questions that’ll help you identify the right candidate(s).
Understand technology, technical roles, and technical skills.
Identify. Sourcing and uncovering candidates
Screen. Ascertaining the competence of candidates against a technical job description
Interview. Meeting candidates in person, telephone, or video conference, etc to assess their qualifications
Following up. Keeping candidates in the loop.
Present. Showing or offering a candidate resume to hiring managers to scrutinize or consider.
Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates.
Foster long-term relationships with candidates.
Review and understand technical job requirement requirements.
Review applicants to verify if position requirements are met.
Research new technologies.
Follow up with candidates.
Write and post technical job descriptions.
Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes.
Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments, and behavioural questions).
Coordinate with IT team leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs.
Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates.
Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with IT professionals
On-board new hires.
Promote the company’s reputation as a great place to work.
Conduct job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements.
Keep up to date with new technological trends and products.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
The candidate must have the following:
Ability to build strong relationships.
Ability to learn technical information.
Self-confidence and self-starter.
Office automation tools (MS Office etc.) for proofreading, editing, and formatting.
Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter
Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g., phone, Hangouts and structured)
Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g., social media recruiting)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid understanding of HR practices and labor legislation
