Job Title: Senior IT Talent Acquisition Advisor
Location: Waterloo or Richmond Hill or Virtual
Duration: 12 month contract
Job Description:
The Talent Acquisition Advisor ensures successful recruitment of the IT roles. As an integral member of the Technical TA team, the Sr. TA Advisor will source top talent in the market, support talent branding efforts, as well as ensure a seamless interview process and a great candidate experience.
You are great at:
· Acting as a strategic Talent Acquisition Advisor to your hiring managers
· Partner with hiring managers to determine hiring needs
· Design, implement and execute the overall recruiting strategy
· Building and managing candidate pipelines and proactive talent pools for critical roles
· Expertly managing the full lifecycle of recruiting for your positions (source, pre-qualify, interview, assess, extend/negotiate offers)
· Proactively using your expertise to uncover talent and influence hiring decisions to achieve the best talent outcome
· Providing an exceptional candidate experience along the way
· Being a champion of our talent brand and our Best Place to Work value proposition
· Actively contributing to our continuous recruitment excellence initiatives and projects
· Research and understand talent markets, competitor profiles and industry trends
· Effectively utilizing our global ATS and other talent acquisition tools and platforms
What it takes:
· Bachelor’s Degree and 2 – 5 years of experience recruiting in a corporate (in-house) environment preferred, staffing agency experience an asset as well
· Excellent sourcing and data mining skills with expertise in LinkedIn Recruiter
· Ability to multitask and prioritize the demands of multiple clients
· Experience have used multiple e-recruiting platforms like web-based ATS’, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Glassdoor, etc.
· A relentless focus on finding the best talent, leveraging a variety of platforms, systems and techniques.
· Ability to build rapport quickly with Hiring Managers.
· Demonstrated ability to assess talent utilizing formal methodologies
· Excellent communication skills
· Strong business acumen and knowledge of enterprise software market and industry
