Job Title: Senior Director/VP – IT Operations
Job Summary:
Senior/VP Director of IT Operations will be responsible for overseeing the complete Corporate IT department, including managing IT personnel, developing and implementing IT policies and procedures, maintaining hardware and software systems, and ensuring the overall security and efficiency of the organization’s IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead the corporate IT department, including hiring, training, and supervising IT personnel.
Develop and implement IT policies and procedures that ensure the security and efficiency of the organization’s IT infrastructure.
Develop and maintain the Corporate IT budget, including hardware and software purchases, licensing fees, and personnel costs.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of hardware and software systems, including servers, email service, networks, and corporate applications.
Ensure the security and integrity of the organization’s IT systems and data by implementing and managing security protocols, backup and disaster recovery plans, and data retention policies.
Develop and implement IT projects and initiatives that align with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives.
Identify and recommend new technologies and systems that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization’s IT infrastructure.
Collaborate with other departments to identify and address IT-related issues and ensure that IT systems meet their specific needs.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in IT and apply this knowledge to the organization’s IT infrastructure and operations.
Produce regular reports on IT operations and performance metrics, including uptime, system availability, and service desk metrics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
14+ years of experience in IT operations or a related field.
Proven experience in managing and leading an IT team.
Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and databases.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects and priorities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity and data privacy laws and regulations.
