Red Hat Software Looking for Account Solutions Architect- Media and Entertainment at Mumbai, Maharashtra Full Time

About the job:
The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Account Solutions Architect to focus on Media and Entertainment (M&E) accounts within the Telco, Media, and Entertainment (TME) vertical to join us in Mumbai, India. In this role, you will work with the TME sales teams to promote our business by engaging, meeting, and demonstrating to our customers that Red Hat’s solutions meet their needs and expectations. You’ll collaborate with the TME Business Development team account managers, as well as solutions and domain architects to define plans, tactics, and strategies to support customers on the Red Hat technical solutions applied to the media and entertainment market. As an Account Solutions Architect, you’ll support sales teams in developing opportunities for media and entertainment accounts in the broadcasting, over-the-top (OTT), and publishing space, presenting Red Hat’s offerings and technologies to partners and customers, delivering blueprints, requests for information (RFI) and request for proposal (RFP) responses, and practical proofs of concepts, as well as project scoping and presenting project deliveries.

What you will do:
Educate, enable, and support our Presales and Architect team partners on media-specific technologies and concepts to develop and deliver the Red Hat’s message and value proposition to the media market

Work with media customers to deeply understand their business and technical needs; develop solutions that make the best use of Red Hat technologies

Capture and share best-practice knowledge pertaining to media technologies among the Red Hat solutions architecture community

Help formulate a strategy for the adoption of Red Hat technologies within the M&E customers

Collaborate with local teams to address media customers and partners and their technical network teams; work with the Sales team to gain market share

Work with the ecosystem to position Red Hat as a key strategic vendor for media accounts and cloud infrastructures, e.g., independent software vendors (ISVs), cloud providers, integrators, hardware vendors

Guide or contribute to RFP and RFI responses and projects for media customers

Deliver expert-level demonstrations showing how Red Hat’s solutions and services benefit media customers

Communicate and team up with Red Hat Products and Technologies (PnT) product managers, product marketing managers, engineers, and the global Corporate TME teams

Propose solutions based on customer requirements and deliver solid business cases

Design value-based architectures and present the application and ROI of these technologies

Deliver compelling recommendations and quality solutions that result in the closing of new sales

Use your skills as a technical solutions expert and your understanding of industry best practices to deliver timely results to customers that exceed their expectations

What you will bring:
Extensive experience working in or with the media industry, including print, broadcast, and OTT accounts in India

Excellent industry and market insight; good understanding of current, new, and future technologies

Experience with publishing workloads, content management and analytics platforms, large scale gaming implementations and architectures, content delivery networks (CDN), video streaming, and content encoding and transcoding

Experience with post-production pipelines like rendering and authoring

Demonstrated experience promoting and implementing technology and architecture for media infrastructures and engineering

Excellent understanding of the existing and new technologies used by the media industry; understanding of industry direction

Excellent knowledge of IT technologies and applications used by media customers; practical experience with technologies used for cloud and automation

Solid relationships and trusted status in the media and broadcast market
