SUMMARY
Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) is on a tremendous growth path. To support our growth journey, we are searching a motivated colleague taking over responsibility as Infrastructure Procedure Owner driving standardization and automation in the center of a high-scale cloud environment. You will interface with a highly professional, global team of experts and architects from various teams inside ECS Delivery and the development organization. With standardization and automation, our team is enabling the ECS Delivery operational units to delight our customers and deliver reliable services!
With your solid Infrastructure and DevOps background preferably with first Hyperscaler experiences you will be a great addition to our team to actively drive standardization, automation and stabilization projects. Further you will be part of strategic projects for introducing new technologies or tools in our environment.
THE ROLE
In your role as Infrastructure Procedure Owner you are ensuring the definition of smooth and ideally highly automated lifecycle management activities to ensure high availability of workloads operated within ECS – this may include activities such as near zero-downtime OS patching or enablement of new multi-cloud providers or internal infrastructures. Increasing the automation of operational activities and its robustness will help operation teams reducing their manual efforts and lowering SAP’s TCO while faster delivering services to our customers.
