Job Title, Summary and Role Information :
As part of Intelligent Enterprise Solutions, IE Operations is SAP’s Platform provider and responsible for running SAP’s critical business applications. Within IE Operations, the service unit “Business Infrastructure Operations” (BIO) is responsible for 24×7 operations of important and critical SAP systems and applications embedded in an international delivery approach. BIO runs hybrid environment with various operating and databases on on-prem, IaaS on Public (Azure) and Private cloud Infrastructure. We are looking for a DevOps Enginner to provide 3rd level Cloud Platform Enablement tasks from Pune location.

As Specialist, you are responsible for: Conceptual design, configuration and administration of server landscapes with focus on Linux and Windows Operating systems & IaaS Platforms on Azure,Openstack etc.

Drive innovation to optimize, automate and standardize the operational delivery processes

Efficieny, compliance improvement via automation and following devops practices.

Managing the daily operations, ensure high availability.

Strong collaboration with other teams within and outside IE Operations using agile methods.

Strong alignment and close cooperation with internal customers and partners.

Experience (Role Requirements):
Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent, preferably in computer science or information technology field of study with minimum of 8 years of experience.

Ability to work in an agile Environment and capable of working effectively in cross-cultural teams.

Practical Work Experience on SUSE Linux, Redhat Linux or Windows is must.

Technical background and administration experience of IaaS (Azure, Openstack etc…) is must.

Experience with Infrastructure automation tools like Chef / Ansible, Terraform, Packer is must.

Scripting experience (Perl, Shell, bash, ruby, powershell) is must.

Understanding & Knowledge of Network, Security setup and processes, monitoring tools in the hybrid cloud environment.

Knowledge of cloud-nattive technology is plus
