We are seeking a GoLang Developer to join our team and play a pivotal role in designing, developing and maintaining backend services and APIs to support our web and mobile applications that meet our business requirements and drive customer satisfaction.

. Work across products, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth

. Develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

. Show end-to-end ownership in projects, from conceptualization to deployment

. Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design

. Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities

Key Responsibilities:

Backend Development: Leverage extensive experience to contribute to the development of products by developing scalable and efficient server-side code.

End-to-End Project Ownership: Take complete ownership of projects, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, data analysts, and IT, to ensure smooth data flow and integration.

Comprehensive Understanding: Possess a solid understanding of web/app frameworks, APIs, databases, and other tools and technologies necessary to ensure quality and scale.

Problem Solving: Actively engage in solving complex problems, employing critical thinking and analytical skills to address challenges that arise during the development process.

User Experience Enhancement: Contribute to the creation of amazing user experiences for a global user base.

Data Management: Designing, optimising and managing databases (both SQL and NoSQL) to ensure data integrity and performance.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for easy reference and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimise code.

. Proficiency in the Go programming language and web services using frameworks like Gin, Echo, Fiber, etc. is a must have.

. Experience in working on concurrency features like goroutines, channels, etc.

. Experience with database technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.

. Knowledge of RESTful API design principles and microservices-based architectures using GoLang and related technologies (e.g., gRPC, Protobuf)

. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure, etc. and containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and1. others is a plus.

. Adept at adapting to new technologies and architectures, with a passion for innovation and staying at the forefront of industry advancements

. Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to team members and stakeholders.

. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
