We seek an innovative and passionate leader capable of inspiring a team of solution architects, business analysts, support analysts, developers, QA & DevOps engineers. The ideal candidate will have at least 15+ years’ experience leading highly motivated teams to develop responsive, large-scale applications based on latest web and mobile technologies, using modern front-end and back-end development frameworks. The candidate should be passionate about user experience, continuous improvement, and incremental delivery methods.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate a self-directed team of solution architects, business analysts, full-stack developers, QA, DevOps engineers and application support analysts in the development of plans, goals, and objectives for the E2E delivery of web and mobile application projects, enhancements, and support services, ensuring overall delivery excellence.
Communicate effectively and manage relationships with key stakeholders including executive management, project sponsors, vendors, and project team members.
Manage multiple and conflicting priorities in a timely and sensitive way, with full transparency to the functional and operational leadership.
Lead the Critical Incident Management and an escalation point for stakeholder concerns if and when it arises.
Driving a culture of continuous learning and innovation ensuring the creative ideas are nurtured and implemented
Provide thought leadership, identifying business problems and coming up with mitigation solutions and frameworks.
Hire outstanding talent with a growth mindset, execute onboarding, training, knowledge transfer, and skill-building plan of new team members.
EXPERIENCE :
15+ years of experience and knowledge of the web and mobile application development ecosystem .
Must have hands-on experience in the Web and Mobile application domain with proficiency in Enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate, cloud architecture , with sound knowledge of building both frontend and backend applications/platforms .
Excellent understanding of industry-proven design patterns and UI frameworks like JavaScript, Stencil, Svelte, React, Vue or equivalent is a must .
Experience on leading the delivery and support of mobile application (frontend and backend) on Android and iOS platforms
Expertise in implementing test-driven development, domain-driven design, and clean code principles
Prior experience participating in IT pre-sales (Request for Proposals / Request for Information) , driving proposals , defining end-to-end solution architecture , covering technical deployment architectures , and non-functional and performance aspects is desirable.
TECHNICAL EXPOSURE :
Web Content Management System (CMS) experience, with one or more CMS packages such as SDL Tridion /Drupal/WordPress or equivalent is crucial .
Good understanding of cloud platforms ( like AWS, Azure ), configuring and performance-tuning of servers, integration technologies , and API management is highly required .
Sound knowledge of Web Analytics (Google Analytics/Adobe or equivalent) and SEO is a must .
Hands-on experience in Back-end programming languages such as PHP, Python or equivalent will be a plus .
Prior experience in version control and CI/CD tools like GIT, Jenkins, Cucumber, Hudson or Apache Subversion (SVN) is preferred .
Experience in Product Information Management (PIM) integration will be a big-plus .
Exposure to iOS platform technologies like The Swift 3.0 programming language, Xcode IDE, Spatial Reasoning, Design Guidelines, UI and UX design experience, Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Grand Central Dispatch, Git and GitHub, Core Data
Android application delivery and support experience working with technologies like Kotlin, Java, GIT, SDK, Json, Web Services, C++, HTML 5, CSS and development of User Interface
Understanding of Mobile backend application delivery using NodeJS, NPM, AWS (Cognito, Amazon API gateway, DynamoDB, S3), Azure pipeline will be desired
SOFT SKILLS
Must possess excellent communication skills at all levels, from team members to senior management, including exceptional presentation skills .
Enthusiasm and a desire to build an innovative team . Prior experience working on innovation use-cases, Proof-of-Concepts development.
Good experience of working in a cross-functional matrix organization .
An entrepreneurial spirit , and flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change.
QUALIFICATION
Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent
Advanced certifications in AWS, CMS, Java, TOGAF, etc. will be a big plus .
