The Product & Systems Security Office (PSO) is the central global organization responsible for defining the product & systems security posture for Schneider Electric. The PSO is looking for a Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) Solution Architect who can lead the architecture, integrations, deployment, and operations of our chosen SBOM solution in an AWS VPC. The role includes the effective management of project definition, setup, management, target setting and performance control.
Collaboration
The SBOM Solution Architect will be working in collaboration globally with the other PSO team members, Schneider Digital, R&D, business teams, external suppliers, industry working groups, customers, and governments to produce, store, and share SBOMs.
Responsibilities
The SBOM Solution Architect will:
Assess the system architecture currently in place and recommend solutions to improve it
Provide supervision and guidance to supplier development team and SE integrations teams
Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates
Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions
Assess potential business impact of technical choices
Create and maintain technical processes to generate, collect, store, and share SBOMs
Facilitate strategic, operational, and implementation activities to assure that management is knowledgeable of process, goals, objectives, and strategies
Lead and run technical cybersecurity projects of all sizes (small to large)
Formulate, organize, coordinate, and monitor inter-connected projects
Apply change, risk, and resource management
Meet with stakeholders to discuss project status and goals
Monitor, coordinate, document, and communicate progress toward achievement of business goals, objectives, strategies, and action plan results
Qualifications
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required. Masters preferred.
3+ years of technical solution management experience required. 2+ years as a technical project manager preferred.
3+ years of software development and engineering experience preferred.
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) required
Good knowledge of SE enterprise systems (e.g. PDM, PIM, cIAM, Jira, GitHub Enterprise, JFrog Artifactory)
Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
Experience in software engineering and functional architecture
Positive outlook in meeting challenges and working to a high level
Advanced understanding of business processes
Good understanding of key topics in Cybersecurity such as Cybersecurity, IT Security, OT Security, Vulnerability Management, Risk Management, Incident Response, Penetration Testing, Quality assurance.
IEC62443, OT, and Cloud knowledge preferred.
Cross-group collaboration skills, with experience working directly with engineering teams.
Experience running a project with team members and stakeholders dispersed across several continents.
Experience in international organization, leading international teams.
