Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
Primarily responsible for testing and documentation for IT controls, including IT general controls, automated controls, interfaces, key and SOC reports, and end-user computing controls. Business control knowledge is a plus.
Assist with IT’s annual risk assessment, annual planning, IT projects, and impact assessments for new system implementations.
Attend walkthrough meetings and assist SOX leads with evaluating design effectiveness and documentation.
Create, update, and maintain internal control narratives, flowcharts, and a risk control matrix (common control mapping).
Monitor and test remediation activities, ensuring timely completion.
Maintain SOX project documentation in the SOX tool, IRM. (Ex: audit requests, indicator tasks, test plans, audit tasks, etc.)
Actively manage relationships with business partners and co-workers.
Adhere to the corporate SOX/audit methodology and documentation requirements.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you have:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or management information systems, with 3+ years of strong experience in testing IT SOX controls, preferably from Big4.
Prefer candidates with one of the following certifications: CIA, CISA, and CISM
Strong knowledge of SOX requirements and the ability to assist with testing and documentation of IT process controls to support SOX compliance audits. Having a risk-and-control mindset
Good communication (written and oral) and analytical and critical thinking skills
Exceptional skills in using Excel and Visio; experience in using SAP and ServiceNow IRM preferred.
Ability to work both independently and as a team member. Experience working with overseas teams is preferred.
Embraces the challenge of evaluating processes and controls in a fast-paced control environment.
