Directly facing-off to the business SEAM organization, SEAT is responsible for integrating IT and Digital Teams in Safety, Environment, Asset Management and Technology.
Where you fit in
We are responsible supporting our business for Group Safety strategy, process and standards with focus on preventing life changing injuries and ‘moving the needle’ on progress towards Goal Zero on the highest risk categories. Our Safety team is organized as follows:
Safe system of Work: Ensure staff and contractors can work safely within Shell while often operating in demanding roles and extreme conditions.
High Risk Transport: Based on safety metrics, solve key areas of concern. Current priority is Fatigue Management contributing to 20% of fatalities / Injuries
Process Safety: Ensuring our physical assets from drilling rigs, offshore platforms, manufacturing / processing facilities and fuel retail sites are well designed and safely operated and maintained.
Emergency Management: Business strategy to be defined. Vision is to keep people out of harms way, and prepare teams to respond in a fast, effective, and standardized manner.
As part of our Safety Portfolio, you are responsible to support the Product Manager with managing the Product lifecycle of Safety Product across UP/IG, PT and DS which comprises of multiple products and applications (i.e. Sphera, IB, Jarvis to name few).
You will be part of Human Performance / Safe System of Work Product Line with great opportunity to work on exciting mix of Products, digital themes, and devices (Sphera, Jarvis, People Localization, Drone imagery etc). Responsibilities include supporting Product Manager and PLM on Product roadmap, Product functionality/features, data integrity and quality in the relevant IT portfolio management systems (ITBM, ServiceNow.), maintaining the demand funnel, maintaining the integrated plan, reporting on portfolio data and supporting project initiation activities
What’s the role
As a Product SME, provide support to the Product Manager with managing corresponding Product Lifecycle.
Support Product Roadmap, PoCs, 1 Pager, Estimations, act as focal for delivering product functional spec, configuration document & technical specifications.
Ensure data integrity and quality of the product/portfolio in the relevant IT management systems.
Maintain the demand funnel for the product/portfolio.
Maintain the integrated plan/roadmap (0-3 years) for the product/portfolio.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to help identify key events or decision points for the product/portfolio (i.e. major upgrades, architecture drivers, end of life, contract extensions, etc.).
Support and perform initiation activities for new feature development.
Supporting and facilitating product/portfolio reviews and other delivery related meetings.
You will be reporting into the Sr Product Line Manager – Safety, within the Safety, Environment, Asset Management and Technology (SEAT) team.
Your key stakeholders you face-up to are:
Business IT Team (Portfolio Manager, Product Manager, IDTMs)
NWT team (Product Owner, SOM, Architect and IRM teams)
What we need from you
In this new organization, we are looking for people with passion for improving safety for our Shell Staff and contractors through application of digital technology and data insights.
Any related University Degree
5-8 years of professional experience in IT Product Management
Knowledge in product roadmap and proof of concepts (POC)
Exposure to Safety domain and/or knowledge in safety products is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good stakeholder management.
