Position Summary:
Provides business analysis support as an integral product owner member of an IT project team and delivers IT application enhancements and solutions, which are a win-win with business requirements/processes and what can technically be delivered, while driving ‘out of the box’ solutions.
Key responsibilities
Product ownership to drive IT application/process improvement initiatives to deliver “out of the box” solutions for HR IT /Global Functions.
Focuses on an individual IT Product throughout the product lifecycle, providing support to the IT Product/Project Manager and Business Stakeholders.
Provides analysis support to product vision, executing data gathering of requirements and customer research, ensuring delivery of the Product roadmap with the IT delivery organisation.
Deliver IT enhancements/improvements, projects & programs within agreed time and budget
Supports programs as a lead BA of moderate-to-high complexity/risk and multiple/large/complex projects.
Strong stakeholder management required, involving coaching and partnering with business stakeholders to validate the strategic business case for program, define success metrics and criteria, and to identify, measure, and sustain planned vs. achieved benefit.
Responsible for capturing business problems, value drivers, and functional/non-functional requirements, including health, safety, security, usability, data, and supportability considerations. Translates business requirements into functionality and assess the risks, feasibility, opportunities, and business impacts of various solution options. Undertakes assessment and model processes, data flows, and technology to understand the current value and issues, and identify opportunities for improvement. Creates clear documentation to communicate requirements and related information; keeps updated to align with the solution over the project lifecycle.
Contributes to Design Engineering initiatives, supporting ERM and onboarding processes and provides mentorship/coaching to less experienced BA’s or joiners.
Navigates through conflicting interests to a successful outcome.
Influential outside of project, with opinions valued by business leadership, and plays an advisory role in business meetings.
Works independently under minimal managerial supervision. Typically, accountable to Project/Program Manager and direct line reporting to a LM in Design Engineering.
Drives clarification of complex and analytical requirements from a technical solution design perspective and delivers effort estimates for those solutions to produce a detailed design for integrating existing applications to SaaS applications and/or implementing SaaS applications Contributes to the development of the Functional Specifications from a technical design perspective
Develops design/solution development for reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms of all complexities
Capability to gather business requirements and produce a detailed design for integrating existing applications to SaaS applications and/or implementing SaaS applications
Assists in the resolution of Production issues in meetings with Support Organization
Perform Prototyping in support of requirements definition or technical design questions
Monitor integration and user acceptance testing
Monitor resolution of defects/issues during test cycles and supports hyper care.

Experienced in Global working environment working with diverse cultures
Product ownership experience a plus
Business Analysis Certification (or comparable) a plus
