• Typical examples of the deliverables are building proof-of concept solutions with networking system
• Terraform scripting (create VPCs/Vnets, change route tables, security groups…)
• technology and architecting and implementing networking solutions to address client requirements.
• Monitor network performance and integrity
• Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting MPLS and local infrastructure
• Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness
• Mentor team members on technical issues
• Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)
• Communicate with users when needed
• Maintain complete technical documentation
• Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability
• Performing troubleshooting to system failures and identify bottlenecks to ensure long term efficiency of network
• Responsible for Network Documentation using Visio Tools, MS-Power Point
• Configuration and troubleshooting of routes, VLAN, QoS
• This individual acts as a role model and discharges technical management within a team, encouraging mutual respect and commitment.
• Encourages groups to work together and takes responsibility for team building to optimize performance by working with other Team Leaders, planning and managing resources to provide correct levels of cover.
• Sets challenging but achievable team targets to match business metrics, performance standards and SLA s and manages Individual and Team Performance.
• Subsequently, aligns individual and team training requirements with business needs within budget guidance.
• Manages daily, weekly, monthly process changes which may affect the team and reacts to and resolves issues inside and where practical, outside the department.
• Expertise in one or more networking system technology areas.
• Examples include routers, networking controllers, bridges, or networking software related to these technologies.
• Technical Specialists in this Job Role work with products or solutions based on any vendor hardware & operating system software.
• Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
• Configure and install software, servers, routers and other network devices
• Testing and configuring software and maintain and repair hardware and peripheral devices
