Siemens Looking for Solution Architect – Cloud .Net, Azure at Pune, Maharashtra Full Time

This position involves being a Cloud Architect within the R&D teams for Siemens Opcenter Execution Core.

The position will work directly with 1 or more cross-functional feature teams engaged in developing the Opcenter Execution Core portfolio using Agile methodology.

This position is in Pune, IN. The position reports to the Development Manager of Opcenter Execution Core R&D. This is a non-Manager position.

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience and a general overview of Cloud and On-premises IT architecture, software implementation, automation, quality assurance, monitoring, and maintaining services with various underlying dependencies. He/She will engage closely with DevOps and SysOps teams to deliver highly available and scalable services.

A Close collaboration with business teams to understand requirements and translate them into performant and reliable cloud solutions is key to this position. The candidate should have prior experience in designing cloud and on-premises n-tier applications or IT infrastructure.

Task and Responsibilities:
Design, Build and Maintain cloud systems on Azure/AWS using all available services with focus on PaaS, SaaS and IaaS

Create scalable and cost-effective cloud solutions for Siemens’ customers and Siemens’ business units.

Work closely with R&D as well as OPS teams to develop cloud infrastructure and strategy.

Define, implement, deploy and maintain development, staging & production environments for cloud-based (Amazon Web Services / Azure) micro-services architecture.

Establish self as a trusted advisor with the teams through an in-depth understanding on cloud providers, solution architecture and applications.

Apply your specialized knowhow to empower software applications with maximum reliability and performance.

Effectively execute projects from comprehensively analyzing requirements to rapidly designing and implementing solutions to develop highly reliable and performant decentralized and distributed systems from concept to realization, targeted to deliver solutions to Siemens business problems globally.

Work in conjunction with business users to understand functionality, scalability, performance, security, and integration requirements

Define migration solutions for existing on-prem or hosted software development processes (CI/CD landscapes)

Understand Siemens information security requirements and drive adherence for cloud workloads

Collaborate within organization to build secure IaaS, PaaS & SaaS environments in Azure/AWS

Develop and maintain documentation for built Cloud systems and procedures

Build working relationships with various Siemens and business teams

Craft and evangelize secure cloud platform & product requirements

Qualifications:
Overall 9+ years’ experience in Cloud Technologies and recent 5 years particularly in Azure

Experience with the implementation of cloud solutions in an enterprise environment

Experience of migrating existing enterprise applications to the Cloud with creating/mapping new value streams

Strong knowledge of technology and cloud topics including network and application security, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, web server, and database security

Knowledge of Azure security strategies and tools

Programming Experience with C# and .NET Technologies, Node JS, Angular/React JS

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively on status, progress, and risks

Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.

Azure certifications along with other security certifications is a plus
