Job Roles and Responsibilities:
Ensure 99.99% Uptime of Entire IT Infrastructure
Overall administration of LAN & WAN; monitor, report and document the overall capacity utilization in the areas of LAN and WAN
To plan and implement the additions, deletions and major modifications in the areas of network and security infrastructure
To provide L3 support on network backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provide support when necessary
To manage day-to-day internal and external client interaction on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner
Remote Management Service & Automation
Development and provision of reports and briefs on system and network performance and planned maintenance activities to the Manager and IT heads
Development and implementation of standard operating procedures, configurations and guidelines for FNFI IT infrastructure
Evaluation, testing and recommendation of hardware, software and network configurations as and when required
Identifying, logging and classifying Incidents & problems
Supporting Incident Management by providing information and work-around solutions
Ensure zero escalations across all shifts
Analyze trends to prevent potential incidents & problems
Infrastructure and Critical application, BCP testing and Documentation
Submitting RFCs to Change Management to make the necessary changes to the IT infrastructure through the Sapphire tool
Keep escalation Points of customer & FNFI informed about Critical Issues/Incidents
Conduct Infrastructure awareness Sessions
Leads internal IT – Network team including shift leads across all locations
Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in network engineering, systems engineering, computer science, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of experience as Network Engineer
