The IT Manager handles entire IT Department which includes processes like managing server and networking, periodically updating the systems, backing up the data, maintaining and updating the contracts, maintaining website, making audio visual arrangements for the meetings and events, procuring various software’s and hardware’s and to keep up with the pace of the organisation.
1. Server Management, which includes tasks such as (but not limited to):
· Maintaining the Admin Panel
· Managing and maintaining Active Directory
· User creation, deletion and updating while ensuring proper security and rights management
· Making changes in the Admin Panel, layout or code in coordination with the software designing agency or experts
· User policy, password policy, backup policy, etc. formulation and implementation in accordance with ISO 27001
· Antivirus/Firewall installation, periodic updating, scanning and virus cleaning
· IP service and network security measures
· Server backups and upgrades
· Data recovery when needed
2. Networking
· Installation and upkeep of wi-fi systems
· Purchase of domains and ensuring domain connectivity
· Routing and switching
· LAN/WAN system setup
· Installation and monitoring of CCTVs
3. Tally and ERP
· Single user/Multi-user setup
· Making changes in coding/reports generated as per requirement
· Periodic generation of reports/data and their backup
· Contract maintenance and renewal,
· New or existing module planning, development, roll-out and training
4. Website
· Maintaining the Admin Panel
· Content management and updating
· Coordination with an agency for social media uploads
5. MS Office/Excel
· Maintaining updated databases such as Member Lists, Industry-wise lists etc.
· Generating queries and preparing customized lists as per specific requirement
· Designing Macros for merging, matching, duplicates removal from data lists
6. Adobe/PDFs
· Basic creation and editing of PDFs
7. Audio/Video system maintenance and upkeep
· Maintenance and upkeep of audio/video system
· Making arrangements for Video Conferencing/Online Meetings
8. Troubleshooting and Remote Support
· Solving Hardware/ Software related issues
· Operating System-related issues resolution
· Usage of Team Viewer and MS Outlook
9. Organizing Meetings and Handling Social Media
· Assist to organize meetings on Zoom, Webex, or any other such mediums
· Uploading the videos on Youtube and Facebook
· Handling GCCI’s presence on social media
