Job Summary:
Participation & implementation of Global products. The role would require adherence to ITIL
standards. The role will require an individual who will work closely with other members of the wider IT Services team but who is also
comfortable working individually as and when required.
Responsibilities:
1. This role is based around a 16×5 schedule with on call as required.
2. Provide support and maintenance for the global IT networking infrastructure across physical and cloud platforms.
3. Act as an escalation point for NOC and Tier 2 teams in “Major Incident” situations.
4. Configure Monitoring for devices.
5. Work on Networking based solutions which includes Implementation, patching & support .
6. Conduct routine audits and maintain system inventory and documentation.
7. Carry out day to day tasks and provide high level customer service to internal teams.
8. Document and develop new procedures (Knowledge Articles) for Tier 2 and Tier 1 teams.
9. Provide support and act as escalation for Tier 2 desktop team.
Candidate Skills:
BSc or equivalent in computer science or related field
At least 3-5 years’ experience in a related role
A strong understanding of the various networking layers and related technologies
Strong experience in
o Cisco networking technologies
o Cisco firewall rules
o Site design and documentation/diagrams
o Azure cloud infrastructure
o AWS cloud infrastructure
o Device backup and restoration
Solarwinds, and Splunk monitoring knowledge
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Ability to write detailed reports and procedures
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work under low supervision
Excellent oral and written communication skills in the English language.
Awareness of ITIL Service Now
PREFERRED TECHNICAL SKILLS Certifications in : Cisco, AWS, Azure or any of the above technologies
