Key Result Areas
To support business functions requirements for timely and cost effective procurement of IT related goods and services (i.e. Computer hardware, software, IT Infra/cloud etc) by involving in the process of selecting vendors, source competitive prices, negotiating prices and contracts, managing vendors & purchase order creation.
Responsibilities
. To Devise and use fruitful procurement and sourcing strategies and executing them
. To Understand business requirement and procure goods & services
. To develop strong relationship with Stakeholders (Business units)
. To identify profitable suppliers and initiate procurement partnerships
. To Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
. To Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
. To Identification and realization of cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities
. To Manage procurement of staff in (and across) sourcing, contracting, transactional purchasing, supplier management, and miscellaneous internal procurement support activities
. To ensure Budget management for categories under management – and for procurement itself. To do the vendor management and performance evaluation
Specific Authorities

• Authorised to float RFQ/RFP to vendors
• Authorised to obtain quotes/proposals from vendors as per Delegation of Authority Matrix
• Authorised to Issue PO to vendors as per Delegation of Authority Matrix
