Job Title: IT Support Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IT support and be able to work with Windows Active Directory, firewalls, servers, and security.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
• Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels in Windows Active Directory
• Manage and troubleshoot network issues, including firewalls and routers
• Configure and maintain network printers and other peripherals
• Ensure the security and integrity of all data by implementing proper backup and recovery procedures
• Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware systems
• Monitor server performance and troubleshoot server-related issues
• Manage and maintain server security, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in IT support
• Document technical processes and procedures for future reference

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in IT support
• Strong understanding of Windows Active Directory
• Experience with firewall and router configuration and management
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, and VPN technologies
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with backup and recovery procedures
• Experience in server administration and security
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus
