Salaried on Project basis – Upto 10 LPA. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our business growth through effective sales strategies and client relationship management. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT sales, with a strong focus on bidding, lead generation, and proposal writing.
Bidding Experience: Proven track record of bidding on projects at platforms such as freelancer.com, Upwork, Web Guru, and Wellfound based on the programming team’s skills. The candidate should have the ability to assess project requirements, prepare competitive bids, and negotiate contracts to secure projects for the organization.
Lead Generation: Utilize LinkedIn and other professional networks to identify and engage potential clients. The candidate should possess the ability to build a strong network, generate leads, and convert them into business opportunities.
Proposal Writing: Expertise in writing Statements of Work (SoW) and business proposals. The candidate should be able to convert rough development documents into highly efficient business proposals that effectively communicate our capabilities, value proposition, and pricing structures.
Client Interaction: Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact confidently with clients. The candidate should have excellent communication skills and be capable of conducting effective client presentations, handling objections, and negotiating contracts.
Email Etiquette and Follow-up: Maintain professional email etiquette while communicating with clients and internal stakeholders. The candidate should possess excellent follow-up skills to ensure timely and effective communication throughout the sales process.
Requirement Gathering: Conduct thorough requirement gathering sessions with clients to understand their needs and translate them into actionable project scopes.
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT sales.
Fluent in English, both written and verbal communication.
Proven track record in bidding on projects at platforms such as Freelancer, Upwork, Guru, Toptal, Fiverr, PeoplePerHour, 99designs, FreelanceWritingGigs, Simply Hired, Gigster, DesignCrowd, Codeable, Crowded, TaskRabbit, NexxtExperience in lead generation, especially through LinkedIn and other professional networks.
Strong expertise in writing cover letter, SoW and business proposals.
Proficient in client interaction, including requirement gathering and conducting effective client presentations.
