About the role :
As an IT Network Performance Monitoring Specialist you will,
1. Provide Production Support, Design, code, test & Support Network Performance Reporting related ecosystem components (ie, SevOne, SevOne Data Insight, Service Assurance & HP SM stacks, etc.) according to architecture and solution direction
2. Apply agile development methodology with DevOps concept to accelerate business capability and customer experience delivery
3. Collaborate with architecture, solution and delivery teams to rollout the envisioned IT roadmap
4. Support customers and businesses in the utilization of our Service Value Chain offerings
Candidate should have
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree required in IT, Engineering or related discipline with post-graduate degree preferred ( Business / Engineering)
Capability to interpret business ideas/requirements, develop, test and deploy solutions using agile/scrum and DevOps methodologies
Proven work experience in as a computer software engineer or software developer with application mastery of Software Engineering tools, process and techniques
5-9 years’ experience in network performance monitoring implementation, consulting or technical SME role covering,
Expertise in SevOne Network Performance Monitoring System – Cluster architecture, configuration and peer settings, SNMP configurations, Netflow configurations, IPSLA configurations and xstats, Device/Object management and Licensing.
Knowledge in creating various traffic and performance reports, configure report settings, report sharing and delivery.
Experience in Network Performance Management – configure policies and thresholds, Alert management.
Knowledge in Access control mechanisms for User and User Role management in SevOne and integrated Customer portals, LDAP Authentication
Strong competence in SevOne Data Insight including configuring Metadata, adding widgets and configure widget settings, User onboarding to Data Insight.
Domain Skills-
Knowledge of basic Networking and understanding networks including MPLS, Ethernet access, Cisco and Juniper technologies.
Technology Skills-
Expertise in PhP, Python, Unix Shell scripting, mySQL, Basic knowledge in Rest API, GraphQL API, Kubernetes, Docker
Additional Skills-
Effective communication and facilitation with key business stakeholders to capture and represent immediate business requirements to long term strategic objectives
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently as well as in a highly collaborative, team-based environment
Familiar with DevOps tools application and automation – Jira, Jenkins, Bamboo, Confluence, Kubernetes, Ansible
