THE ROLE

Develop and enhance Jira workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, customized pages for company-wide use. Should have the strong knowledge on the plugins Integrated with Jira.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Demonstrate expertise and add valuable input on the application and underlying technology.

Resolve reported issues and reply to queries in a timely manner.

Develop and utilize technical change documentation.

Strive to deploy all products and updates on time.

Remain up to date on all current best practices, trends, and industry developments.

Rapidly prototype new solutions based on user requirements

Use Jira Java and REST APIs / integrations

Understand, develop and write groovy code in Script Runner

Collaborate with team members, to understand the requirements and design solutions by following the industry best practices.

Build test scripts and perform unit testing for various business case scenarios, and support User Acceptance tests and implementation on production

Ensure code quality and participate in and lead code reviews

Creative problem solving to address end user needs and resolve application issues.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the Jira Platform and application.

Respond to production issues / emergencies during business hours and off hours according to agreed SLAs

Perform root cause analysis and provide business and technical solutions for application errors

Additional Duties Responsibilities Work cross-functionally to integrate Atlassian applications with key business applications such as per needs.

Responsible for understanding the current process, gathering requirements, investigating potential solutions, analyzing impact, communicating with stakeholders, and implementing solutions

Troubleshoot access and/or performance issues

Play a critical role in designing, developing and implementing best practices and automate tasks

Investigate and remediate any failures with our automated tasks or processes

Maintain and improve day to day processes and platforms

Adhere to best practices and complete meticulous documentation.

Should be familiar with migration of data from one system/project to another system/project.

JIRA Development experience (Groovy / Script runner)

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Looking for 5+ years of Exp

Knowledge in CI/CD processes and practices.

Good understanding of distributed version control systems like GIT or Bitbucket

Experience in working and troubleshooting cloud environments in AWS and DevOps

Strong Linux System Administration experience within a complex multitier environment

Familiar with ServiceNow or other ITSM tools.
