Key Responsibilities:
IT support for Network and related Infrastructure
Vendor Management for external support parties
Participate in short term Projects delivery for internal/external stakeholders
Align with TMF IT/Network Vision and objectives as laid out by the Senior Leadership Team/Global Network Head
Available and willing to work in shifts across the time zones in support of Global Service Model
Available and willing for participating in ‘On-call Support’ beyond normal business/work hours to support Global support model of operations
Depending on the location of the appointment, must be willing to travel/visit local office/Data Centre as necessary to extend physical ‘Hands and Eyes’ support to remote technology teams for local IT infrastructure troubleshooting or MACD requests
Supports Network Leads/ L3, senior Leads in execution and implementation of BAU activities or other activities as tasked time to time or case to case basis
Implement, manage and troubleshoot IT network hardware including routers, switches, wireless, firewalls,
Key Accountabilities
Must have good familiarity with Cisco Meraki SDWAN/LAN/WiFi range of products
Must have a fair knowledge on AWS, Azure and similar cloud infrastructure
Must have a good understanding of DNS, DHCP, IPAM solutions
Understand the concepts of security solutions including IDS/IPS, centralized logging, NAC solution, reverse proxy and content filtering software (Websense), and be able to support same in guidance
Has a fair knowledge of Barracuda/Fortinet Firewalls, NLBs including F5
Has a fair knowledge of VPN including SSL, GRE and IPSec.
Has a fair knowledge of Proxy services inclusive of Websense/Forcepoint/Zscaler etc. – will be treated
Monitor and measure performance through regular reporting and summaries of the systems including availability, usage and capacity
Must be able to assist in developing enterprise network solutions under guidance. Must be able to participate in project plans, project executions, create functional documents
Conduct regular capacity monitoring activities and document the data to project baselines and forecasts
Must be able to participate in conducting various Audits for InfoSec compliance under the guidance of senior members
Support Local/Regional/Global IT network requirements and coordinate with Technical and Business Operations on issue resolution and support
Must be able to work on the ticketing tool, be able to monitor the queue and work on ticket resolution, work requests or Change requests
Anticipate, mitigate, identify, respond to and resolve problems affecting network and system performance, efficiency and availability
Schedule and perform network improvements, upgrades, repairs, redesign, MACD activities
Lead, guide, Mentor L1 engineers in skillsets, troubleshooting, and act like an escalation point for them
Join and lead the troubleshooting calls in case of Network unavailability, Service Degradation, or any Infrastructure related issues that may cause impact to business directly or indirectly
Knowledge and Typical Experience
Generate ideas for improvement based on experience
Assess and work proactively on identifying and mitigating risks to the service delivery
Must have 4-6 years of relevant experience in the field of Networking
Understands personal development areas and is driven to ‘bridge’ gaps.
Will ask relevant questions and maintain communication to improve business awareness/ knowledge
Willing to learn and adapt quickly with the technology changes and Infrastructural reforms
Be aware of client contracts/requirements
Work under direct supervision and review of Leads/Global Network Head
