Job Description
At Toll Technology Centre, Pune in India, we are looking for experienced IT Application Analyst – SSRS and Power BI Developer to join our team of experts. As an IT Application Analyst – SSRS and Power BI Developer your primary duties and responsibilities will include:
Analyse existing SSRS reports, document, and support incident resolution. Develop plan and migrate SSRS Reports to Power BI
Develop Power BI reports and dashboards. Analyse and execute processes and procedures to meet agreed service levels.
Collaborate with application teams, end users, infrastructure teams and external 3rd party vendors to trouble shoot and resolve complex problems. Assist in developing plans to manage current and future demand on applications and IT infrastructure with a view of ensuring efficiency, manage stakeholder expectations and assume responsibility for vendor negotiations and interactions.
Design appropriate metrics for reporting on key performance and quality indicators, particularly in terms of in-depth trend analysis. Provide 3rd line application support on complex internally and externally developed applications. Provide input to administering and maintaining all production, internal environments and to the implementation, backup and roll-back plans.
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
5+ Years of experience with SQL and Oracle SSRS 2008/2012 & SQL Server. 3+ Years of experience with Power BI and integration with SQL and Oracle Databases
Proficient in creating index, views, complex stored procedures, and appropriate user defined functions. Expertise in database activities like data modelling, database design, development, database creation and maintenance, performance monitoring and tuning, troubleshooting, normalization, replication, and documentation.
Knowledgeable in designing XML documents using DTD, XML Schemas, XSLT and XPath queries for its integration in database. Experienced in database design, coding, unit testing and Implementation.
Working knowledge of ITIL processes – Incident, Request, Problem and Change Management. Should have working experience with at least one of the ITIL tools – ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.
Experience in .Net is preferred, but not mandatory.
