Job Description: IT Consultant (Commission-Based)

We are seeking a dynamic and driven IT Consultant to join our team in a partnership capacity. As an IT Consultant, you will play a crucial role in selling our SaaS and cloud products to clients. Your primary responsibility will be to generate leads, promote our offerings, and secure sales. This is a commission-based position with incentives, and occasional client leads will be provided by the company.

Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Business Development: Identify potential clients, understand their needs, and effectively present our SaaS and cloud products as solutions to meet their requirements.

2. Lead Generation: Proactively generate leads through various channels, including networking events, industry conferences, online platforms, and referrals.

3. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor and consultant throughout the sales process and beyond.

4. Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our SaaS and cloud products, their features, benefits, and competitive advantages, in order to articulate their value to potential clients.

5. Sales Strategies: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.

6. Negotiation and Closing: Skillfully negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with clients to ensure successful deal closures.

7. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and customer success, to align efforts and ensure a seamless customer experience.

8. Reporting and Forecasting: Provide regular sales reports, updates, and accurate revenue forecasts to the management team.

9. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors’ offerings to effectively position our products in the market.

Requirements:

1. Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in B2B sales, preferably in the IT industry or selling SaaS/cloud products.

2. Strong Consultative Selling Skills: Ability to understand client needs, ask insightful questions, and recommend appropriate solutions.

3. Excellent Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage and persuade clients.

4. Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take initiative to drive sales results.

5. Relationship Builder: Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain long-term client relationships.

6. Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with SaaS, cloud computing, and IT solutions is highly desirable.
