Senior Systems Administrator
This is a full-time position that requires strong troubleshooting skills and a customer service focus. This position will be based out of Trinity’s Gurgaon, India office.
Reporting to IT’s Sr. Project Manager, the Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for configuring, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining virtual servers in Trinity’s environment. Along with insuring accurate and reliable backups of corporate data, the position will be required to participate in 24×7 tiered support. Additionally, the Senior Systems Administrator will assist in conducting vulnerability and patch management activities, along with developing, reviewing, and maintaining IT standards and operating procedures documentation. The Senior Systems Administrator will be working directly with the Cloud Engineers, Database Administrators, and Help desk staff to design, implement, and support IT solutions.
Position Requirements:
Education: BS in Computer Science or related field
Work Experience: 4+ years of hands-on advanced systems administrative support experience in a professional setting
Other Skills: Knowledge and/or working skills in the following areas is preferred, but not required:
Expertise with MS Windows Server Operating Systems (Linux experience a plus)
Expertise in Active Directory and Domain Administration
Advanced experience in Office365 Administration and support
Direct experience in storage, database, and backup administration and/or technology delivery/services
VMWare configuration and support, certification preferred but not required
Strong understanding of Networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP and SFTP
Experience in 24×7 support environment
Ability to write scripts, batch files, and automated processes
