The Unilever Procurement Organization is at a phase of its transformation journey where it is not only redefining the way Procurement operates but also undergoing a digital disruption with many technology enabled capabilities to make it sustainable, future fit and value driven.
The role of IT Manager – Procurement will enable the interventions required to drive the digital agenda as well as change management and adoption of digital strategy across buyers, with particular emphasis on sustainability and supplier related initiatives.
Here is how your day at Unilever would look like:
Business Partnering with the Procurement, Supplier Operations and Sustainable Sourcing teams to co-create end to end strategy, design, and implementation, landing and adoption of the digital roadmap.
Partner with the global platform teams (across I&A, RnD, SC, Finance and Landscapes) and local vendor eco-system to deliver capabilities.
Set up governance reviews with key stakeholders across each of these functions/platforms.
Driving business adoption of tools deployed and tracking value delivered across geographies and portfolios.
Bring in an outside-in perspective of latest technology trends and bring it to the forum to create new business opportunities across the value chain.
Create awareness of digital capabilities & seek opportunities for benefit maximization.
Manage the demand and delivery for the different digital capability initiatives.
Manage the various KEC activities for the Platform.
Manage vendor partners on project deliverables & various SLAs associated with program deliverables.
Key Skills & Requirement:
Functional Skills:
Understanding of e2e Supply Chain processes and their impact on the value chain. Deep understanding and expertise in the RMPM space is preferred.
Expertise in the data & analytics space. Previous experience in building and landing data, reporting and analytics capabilities preferred.
Understanding of sustainability issues in the supply chain is preferred.
Strong analytical skills capable of assessing complex business requirements from real world scenarios and the ability to translate them into actionable target.
Understanding of master data structures and how they are used in analytics preferred.
Knowledge of project management principles and techniques preferred.
Technology Skills
Experience and understanding of Azure stack with an emphasis on Power BI and datalake
Knowledge of interfacing methodologies and application
Understanding of SaaS technologies and their application
Leadership Skills
Good track record in driving engagement while leading change.
Effective communication skills with an ability to converse effectively across the hierarchy.
Ability to lead, influence and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver desired results in the time frame required.
Other:
2-5 years of relevant experience.
Education – Master’s degree/MBA
Experience in managing large-scale global program with multi stakeholder management.
Sound understanding of relevant business processes – and the way it affects the business.
Good understanding of Budget Management
Displays good inter-personal skills at all levels of contact and in a wide variety of situations.
Demonstrates the ability to make, and take responsibility for, sound and far-reaching decisions on major project related issues.
Has the experience and cultural awareness required to work effectively with a global team.
