About the IT Disruption Management Service [Central Operations and Governance Team] :
IT resilience is the ability of an organization to maintain acceptable service levels when there is a disruption of business operations, critical processes, or the IT ecosystem. In this digital age, high availability is critical to the organization’s success. Our business does not tolerate anything less than 5Nines availability for the ERP, CRM, or other business-critical systems.
The organization must “check the boxes” on many different technologies and solutions to ensure IT resiliency – not the least among them is ensuring, at a minimum, that you have backup, disaster recovery, cyber resilience, and high availability solutions in place. A critical components of ensuring resilience from a central Governing function are :
A Major / Critical Incident Management Team that swarms together to bring all the technical capabilities together.
Significant reduction in time / effort for restoration of operations
Enhance user experience across the IT operating model
Reduce cost of operating and assuring IT Systems Resilience
Enhance Resilience culture across the varied IT Estate [Cloud and internally hosted] and diverse business objectives
Key Responsibilities for the job –
Complete IT Disruption Management including direction, strategy to landing –
Major Incident Management
Crisis Management
Problem Management
End to End Conceptualization and Delivery of strategy encompassing: Process, Technology and engagement across stakeholders.
Process Definition, Collaboration and Delivery of IT Disruption management with close collaboration with Cyber Security and Risk Management Team.
Periodic engagements with consulting organizations and Research firms for benchmarking Ways of Working, Measures of Success etc.
Role entails extensive vendor management skills – for both contract negotiations and Operations management.
IT Disruption Management to have a User Experience focus and user satisfaction measure, stringent focus on Comms for Leadership. Leadership interfacing, communication and change management
The role has potential to influence Service Mgmt agenda for UniOps and expand into other Service Mgmt areas depending on opportunity.

Proven to be a good “out of the box” thinker Proven excellence in stakeholder and customer/partner management Proven experience as a highly effective leader with credibility from demonstrating strong business and technology acumen Boundaryless Collaboration – Able to operate in a complex org structure and collaborate with multiple stakeholders globally. Partner with business and technology teams to prioritize roadmaps, and requirements, balancing business needs with financial and technical constraints. Establish alignment of vision, strategy & delivery working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders including senior leaders across geographies. Extremely result-oriented and deliver huge outcomes. Sets clear objectives and goals for the team and enables the team to deliver and use operating mechanisms to continually assess progress and improve Speed as a Habit – can operate in a fast-moving environment Excellent communication (oral and written) with the ability to communicate at multiple levels ranging from technologists to senior managers and executive leadership
