Production Manager – (Full Time Role)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage overall plant operations in co-ordination with commercial, engineering, quality, EHS teams.
• Responsible for the Planning, Production, Procurement and efficient utilization of all the relevant resources of the plant Responsible for the effective and successful management of materials, labour, productivity, quality, cost and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) aspects of the plant
• Work closely with senior management team to set and implement production objectives, key deliverables, policies, procedures and systems.
• Maximize efficiency, Production output, Service, On-Time Deliveries and profitability for the organization
• Set actions and targets, appraise and manage performance, development, coaching, training and general support of all team members to ensure set objectives are met.
• Develop system to ensure monitoring & reporting of production data into ERP / Manufacturing system.
• Creation & submission of MIS reports on periodic & monthly basis
• Assist in the development and preparation of the strategy and general business planning for the organization.
• Responsible for maintaining & reporting accurate production and consumption records.
• Responsibly use resources and control expenses to meet production targets.
• Adhere to all organization policies, procedures, rules & regulations.
• Interact and liaison with all the stakeholders of the organization including customers & suppliers.
• Execution of special projects, machinery development & sourcing, plant expansion as per management directives

REQUIRED MANUFACTURING EXPOSURE & EXPERIENCE:

• Should have in depth knowledge & hand on experience of metal working and especially of aluminum sections / profiles manufacturing & processing.
• Should have extensive exposure and handled production / manufacturing of metals & especially aluminum profiles, sections, machine bodies & parts in large volumes.
• Should have good knowledge & understanding of design & tooling aspects aluminum sections and profiles.
• Should have 5 -10 years of direct experience of working with metal / aluminum working / processing machines, tooling, jigs and fixtures.
• Should have good knowledge of aluminum surface treatment, chemical & finishing processes like anodizing, powder coating, painting etc.

Qualification and Experience:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering (Full Time) from a reputed college / university
• 10 + years of experience into a similar role with at least last 5 years as head / managerial level
• Experience in handling aluminum sections, windows & doors, furniture, machine bodies, UPVC, modular partition are an added advantage.
• Preferably from building materials & construction products industry manufacturing aluminum products & profiles etc.
