Looking for IT resources with over 10 years’ experience, with over 7 years in implementing service solutions, preferably leveraging SAP products
Experience
Knowledge of service management processes in medical device industry preferred or deep service process knowledge in related industry (example: heavy machinery, medical equipment)
Experience in implementing complex projects across multiple business functions and stakeholders, leveraging large teams spread across the globe
Experience working in a technically complex multi-vendor application environment
Operational Focus : Senior Functional Analyst – SAP CS/SM
The SAP Sr. Functional Analyst works on rollout projects and production support team to deliver Incident and Change Mgmt. This includes writing of functional and configuration design document for the business requirements to be changed, enhanced, or extended for the deployment. Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to validate business processes and system setup by carefully testing the standalone & end to end scenarios, identifying root cause and implement the fix.
Key Areas of Responsibility and Tasks
Provide hands-on support in SAP Customer Service/Service Management, take responsibility for SAP CS/SM related assignments on the projects and Incident and Change Mgmt. incl. Enhancements
Work closely with business sme and system analysts to define and design future solutions for service management operations; capture requirements, design and develop a sustainable solution
Analyze complex business problems or requirements and design cost-effective and suitable solutions to meet them, incl. cross functional integration aspects between the modules
Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost-effective and meet the business requirements
Develop and continually maintain skills in SAP features, functions, and processes
Develop skills in configuring the SAP system as required by the business
Configure system settings and options; plan and support the unit, integration, and acceptance testing
Develop test scenarios, test plans & other documentation, incl. master data setup
Prepare for and conduct training for business users and others in SAP functions
Work with internal & external developers to develop and test programs
Design and write functional and work with the developer to deliver the changes
Use software tools to analyze SAP database in the process of data validation and solving business issues
Adhere to Varian’s process in managing the changes through the technical landscape
Experience & Language Requirements
10+ years’ work experience is mandatory
5+ years’ functional expertise in SAP CS/SM Module, SAP-SD/GTS is a plus!
5+ years’ experience in SAP ERP AMS / Rollouts / Projects
Experience focus on SAP CS/SM, Technical Objects like Functional Location, Equipment, Installation, Service Orders, Notification Processing, Service Contracts, Warranty, Service Billing, Cost Settlement
Strong learning abilities – keen to learn and expand knowledge into new areas and technologies
Excellent written and spoken English skills and superior business etiquettes
Education
BE, B Tech, MSc, MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science
Master’s degree will be a plus – MBA (IT/Sales/Marketing/FI)
