The hiring manager for this role is Prabhu Nath, Manager – Resource Management, WWCC. He has 18 years of experience in Global Resource Management with experience in setting-up the RM function for the organization and ensuring Operational excellence by deriving Demand Forecast and Capacity needs. Prabhu collaborated with diverse Teams across the Globe to standardize the RM ways of working, RM tool adaption & supporting the Delivery in running the operations smoothly. He has experience in design & roll-out of new process change programs spanning across different Geographies.

What type of work will you be doing What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis
Manage the demand of the PSO engagements through internal and external staffing sources Build analytics, reports, dashboards to provide insights and effectively leverages resources for smooth running of the business Proactively identify resources to propose for open requirements through a variety of methods including skills searches, working across other practices/regions and then externally to partners. Work with the Business Operations & Delivery Team to manage partners Work Order, PO processing and ensure the data is reported appropriately. Escalates urgent requests, attend priority staffing calls with the Practice Managers. Assists in assessing capacity and supply as well as staffing resources to maintain high utilization for the supported teams. Guides the practices on the type of demand that is trending throughout the quarter and beyond. Works across all internal teams to communicate the availability of resources and ensure high utilization rates across the regions. Provides coordination/communication with appropriate regional /national managers and delivery personnel to ensure resources are available to meet schedule, budget, and quality commitments. Reports various aspects of the business and on estimates to actual data for resource utilization by practice and nationally. Digitalize the Resource Management reporting with the best suited tools. Preferably candidate should have 6+ years of professional experience. 2-3 years of experience in customer-facing positions as an analyst, preferably within a professional services organization of a product company Requires a strong understanding of the high-level consulting skillsets across the supported VMware technology stack and solution sets. Knowledgeable of product and service tools available to be able to provide statistical trend data in terms of open requirements, bench, availability, project staffing mix of resources, skills coverage, resume status, etc., as needed by the management. Strong process orientation and a solid understanding of project management techniques, methodologies, and best practices. Ability to facilitate change and process improvement, as required. Proven experience in staffing technical resources across complex and organizationally challenging, multi-stakeholder projects.
Within 60 days of employment, Resource Analyst will successfully understand the WWCC business and Resource Management functions. (Demand Management, Capacity & Forecasting Management, Partner Management & RM Operations)
