Role:Senior RM Data Analyst Lead
Experience/Qualification: Masters degree : MBA or M. Tech or MCA with 18 years or more experience
Role purpose:
Data Analyst roles within Operations Performance Centre is a pivotal contributor specializing in the intersection of Financial / Commercial / Service KPI Governance / Resource Management domain knowledge and Technical expertise in the Data Analytics area .
This role is dedicated to facilitating data-driven business decision making and mitigating business risks through tight control mechanisms by leveraging in-depth understanding of Commercial/Financial operations in conjunction with the ability to mine Data for insights while working closely with senior stakeholders across the org.
The FinOps Data Analyst adeptly employs Techno functional or Solution Design skills across ETL ( Python or PowerQuery ) , Data Visualisation Tools like Power BI , Automation tools like Power Automate , Power Apps to work towards end to end solutions that help transform raw data across disparate sources into sophisticated analytical dashboards for self service and informed decision making in addition to mining data for suggesting Next Best Actions to stakeholders for course correction or risk mitigation.
This is a key role that leverages FinOps Functional knowledge as well Technical tools expertise to
1. Automate Data Processing, Reports and Dashboards
2. Continuously Improve Business processes and Metrics through tight Control mechanisms enabled by Digital Transformations.
3. Provide best in class 360 degree Data Insights using MS Power BI suite of products for recommending Next Best Action
Key Responsibilities :
. Financial Planning ( 3 Budget & Recharges cycles ) + Resource Mgmt + Service KPIs Governance + Business Enabling Processes Support & Deliverables :
. Lead and contribute towards Vertical’s planning process to come up with financial plans in line with growth and efficiency guidelines for 300M+ Recharge base for around 10K HC across 1500+ Cost Centres catering to 25+ senior stakeholders across TechVI IT VCI and Networks for India and Malaga centre
. Lead , Contribute and collaborate across GSL spocs assigned for the verticals to produce robust forecasts for commercial models that achieves the overall business objectives
. Budgeting & Recharging – approach & methodology – fine tune guidelines
o Collaborating with VOIS and GT Finance , BRM , GSL , HR to support end to end lifecycle of Budget and Recharge process.
. Resource mix and resource development – Strategy on resource mix optimization for TechV to maintain and improve the bottom line and ensure high quality delivery. BAU and Adhoc Resource management processes to keep a tight control on HC and Bands being recruited
. Decision Support to Business Head(s)
. Service KPI Governance
. Cost and HC Control
. Monitor and Control HC , Bands and Costs through FinX , HFM , Success Factor workflow processes
. Facilitate Opex and Capex cost related BAU as well as Ad-hoc processes
. Control of OpEx spends on TechV events , Training and team building etc. besides ensuring effectiveness.
. Drive and support the achievement of business plans and forecasts
. Business Cases
. Thorough understanding of business cases as well as support Internal Expenditure Approval process by engaging all relevant stakeholders in TechV
. Tracking and maintaining life cycle of 5000+ Business Cases plus 10K CRs through systems plus manually maintained legacy BCs .
. Management reporting and Analysis
. Support the OPC Lead for India and Malaga in the monthly Finance performance review across various critical and complex deliverables like Monthly Cost analysis report and Reviews across 17+ GSL / SL combinations , Monthly Financial Review data for HC walk , Attrition Trends , Capex , Travel , Market wise Recharge etc.
. Ensure timely delivery of insightful management information to the business head in order to support effective decision making
. Monitor variances against Budget/Forecasts and propose corrective actions with the support of the business unit and heads with a special emphasis on cost efficiency plans
. Ensure the monitoring of targets and efficiencies across BPT program , CPVU , KPI Management for Savings including the Thinkbox Review and Approval processes for an average 1200+ Ideas per year.
. Deliver various Formatted as well as Power BI reports as per the BAU frequencies or Ad-hoc requests from stakeholders
