Your role in a nutshell:
You will be working remotely as a part of the Research and Service Design Team, in Vodafone’s Group Design Studio – a global Centre of Excellence providing Vodafone Group and local markets with strategic design guidance and with a vision to ‘design innovative experiences people love and connect with’. We strive for experience excellence using the double diamond design methodology and principles. The team collaborates with product, marketing, and technology to increase the value we bring to both our customers and our business.
The successful candidate will work alongside user experience researchers, working closely with UX and UI designers, product owners and managers, and leaders in digital, customer operations, and consumer services globally.
Your role will be to support Vodafone Group, our Operating Companies and occasionally partner markets in the practical application of Design thinking and Service Design. The overall aim is to support teams in creating experiences which truly meet our customers needs and in turn, benefit the business too.

. You’ll get to manage E2E service design projects – both personally and manage external agencies to take part in them. Example activities include, but are not limited to: relevant user research, journey mapping, co-creation techniques, facilitating workshops, service design blueprinting, etc.
. You’ll get to make recommendations on appropriate user research methodologies and carry out relevant user research
Core requirements what you will bring to the team:
. Fluent English (this is crucial as your direct team members are going to be from the UK)
. Significant practical experience in a Service Design role (ideally agency and industry experience)
. Experience in running user research projects and solid understanding of basic research methodologies like user interviews, surveys, focus groups, etc.
. Ability to analyse and understand data, pulling out key insights
. Strong project management skills (writing briefs, proposals, select and manage suppliers, manage budgets and resources, prepare deliverables, etc.)
. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, meaning you are both a great team player internally, but also able to manage external stakeholders with varying levels of seniority
. User-centered attitude, you are able to put our customers in the focus of everything you do
. Experience working in agile environment is a plus
