Senior is responsible for managing technical and business-impacting issues, as well as to implement changes in the environment. This position is also responsible for leading the day-to-day support of all SAP components.
What you’ll do in this role:
Execution of installations, patches, upgrades, system tuning, and production support as necessary.
Provide technical (hands-on) support for operational and/or projects issues, for all platforms ( ECC, BW, BPC, Portal, GTS, SCM/eWM, CRM, HR )
Perform configuration, analysis, and troubleshooting of both ABAP and Java stack
Manage, monitor scheduled SAP batch jobs to maximize system resources using REDWOOD scheduler.
Support Sox Audits for critical Financial impacted systems by providing appropriate system/user data as requested.
Manage and support multiple landscapes transports, month end /Quarter end , refreshes and any scheduled maintenance activities
Will participate in 24×7 on-call rotation.
Performance tuning methods for Oracle, HANA and SAP.
Be responsible for technical delivery in the areas SAP Basis, Solution Manager, Portal, REDWOOD, PI, SLT, Adobe, Opentext and Trex
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
5-10 years of experience in Basis and HANA database Administration.
Experience working with Oracle DBA , Linux server ,Storage , backup and network teams to resolve SAP environment issues.
Experience performing SAP System and HANA database install, upgrades, System Refreshes and System & Client Copies.
Experienced in HANA database administration, Monitoring , Troubleshooting memory and other technical issues like HANA DB performance, HA, DR and scalability.
Perform transactional tracing and tuning for the online and batch users.
Able to design optimal configurations for multiple application servers.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Strong planning and organizational skills, as well as follow through.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, strong customer service, and communication skills.
Ability to learn newer SAP technological components.
Strong perseverance abilities in the face of challenges and an ability to deal with conflicts constructively.
Strong multi-tasking skills and abilities to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Performs a variety of tasks. Provides technical support on SAP Basis and interfacing systems including establishing standards and requirements, evaluating and directing enhancements, and implementing solutions for systems configuration, design and implementation and performance monitoring as required.
