We recently launched digital banks and wallets in multiple markets to enhance our customers’ experiences with a cutting-edge digital Ecosystem. As a Senior Associate in the Mulesoft Engineering team, your primary responsibility will be to establish core digital banking and wallet solutions globally, while also mentoring and providing help to other junior associates.
Role Responsibilities
Lead work on innovative, actionable and efficient technology solutions to drive API development and enhancements on the Mulesoft platform for the assigned region.
Demonstrate strong capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards.
Execute to success through diligent planning, attention to detail, effective delegation, and efficient decision-making
Interface and collaborate with other engineers in geographically distributed development centers
Strong emphasis on customer journey, product quality, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous development
Develop technical & domain expertise and apply in solving product challenges.
Thorough code reviews
Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and roll out applications with cross-functional and cross-regional impacts
Share engineering support and release
Be a culture champion on the team and across the company.
Role Requirements
6+ years of relevant experience.
Ability to lead technology projects and mentor junior associates.
Hands-on experience working with and managing Mulesoft platform including Anypoint Studio, Exchange and Connectors.
Someone with a proven track record of writing high quality, efficient code to build new APIs or integrate various system functionalities using existing APIs
Experience solving functional product needs by effectively leveraging the Mulesoft platform capabilities
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing APIs using the Mulesoft platform
Experience with agile development methodologies with Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI (Continuous Integration)/CD (Continuous Delivery)
Proven ability to understand the business and ability to contribute to technology direction that drives measurable business improvements.
Experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks
Ability to evaluate business needs and achieve alignment among stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for managing both direct and indirect talent effectively.
Strong technical skills in architecture patterns, solutions design, and integration development.
Proven ability to understand the business and ability to contribute to technology direction that drives measurable business improvements.
Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, OOPs, and OOA/D

Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative development environment and adapt to changing business priorities and to thrive under pressure.
