The team you will be a part of:
The Information Systems team is responsible for implementation of the enterprise architecture and the development and maintenance of the organization’s computing/IT environment. Determines and develops architectural approaches and solutions, conducts business reviews, documents current systems and develops recommendations of how to proceed with the applications.

This role in summary:
AsiaPac IT Director – Infrastructure, Manufacturing and Integrated Supply Chain is focused on supporting our Infrastructure Operations across the region having approx 5400 users across all markets and Manufacturing facilities.

This role is combined with a responsibility as a Regional Product Owner for Manufacturing & Integrated Supply Chain (ISC). This role is also responsible to cater to Application Maintenance & Support (AMS) Services for Manufacturing & Integrated Supply Chain functions across Asia. This is a People Leader role with a team size of approx 12-15 employees and about 40-50 contractors on a regular basis for support.

Your responsibilities will include:
Drive Initiatives to meet Business Objectives

Work Closely with Key Business Stakeholders (Plant Heads, Directors & VP) of Manufacturing, Global Sourcing(GSS), Logistics, Quality & Global Product Organizations(GPO) to understand changing business needs and come up with practical solutions for Applications and services.

Work closely with All Business and Functional leaders across all Asia Markets to plan Infrastructure Strategies for the Cluster / Market & Business Functions. Provide necessary IT Infrastructure support for Manufacturing facilities, Branch Offices, Warehouses and relevant office Infrastructure.

Work Closely with the Business SPOC to come up with Disaster Recovery Plans in alignment with the Business Continuity Plans and keep them tested on a periodic basis.

Drive (WCM) World Class Manufacturing enablement through technology solutions across all Manufacturing facilities and bring standardization across locations.

Bring and implement global services and solutions for Global Product Organization, Global Sourcing, Quality and Sustainability functions and ensure that these teams get value from these Applications.

Project Management

As a Portfolio Manager, own the portfolio of projects in IT Infrastructure & applications Viz SAP, xMII, ANAPLAN, Windchill, P2P, etc across all locations in the region.

Manage project teams (employees & Contractors) and deliver multiple projects as planned during profit plan timings & monitor the project progress to ensure delivery on time and within budgets using Agile and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.

Review and Manage Technology solutions across all functions by participating in regional Architecture Review Board (ARB) as a reviewer and advisor.

Oversee the project delivery through appropriate Project governance and standard PMO practices

Drive Innovation and External Partnership

Research and identify technologies and use cases that can drive business objectives.

Build business case for the implementation of the identified initiatives

Analyze, Evaluate and Recommend products and implementation partners in the Infrastructure supply chain and Manufacturing space.

Manage Infrastructure Support, AMS and Security

Manage Infrastructure Operations covering (but not limited to) Desk Side Support, SAP BASIS, Servers, Networks (LAN/WAN), Printers, Scanners etc.

Manage SAP support for incidents, requests and Enhancement in the ISC function and drive projects for specific requirements in MM/WM/PM modules.

Lead team for SAP MII to provide appropriate support in WCM roadmap for the manufacturing as well as enable digitization in plant systems connecting SCADA and PLC’s across locations.

Lead team to provide appropriate support to logistic teams and provide necessary support to applications like SAP , ANAPLAN, Windchill, P2P etc.

Support to Prepare RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work reports, and other documentation for IT projects and associated efforts.

Negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure products and services.

Manage Infrastructure Capital Investment Portfolio of 3 to 5M USD on an annual basis . Plus influence investments of 1-2 M USD from Global Portfolio.

Manage revex for Repairs and maintenance and Outside services of about 3 M USD

Minimum requirements

Education: 4 Year College Degree with post graduation is preferred

Experience: 15+ Years experience

TECHNICAL

End to End Implementation Experience

Extensive exposure working on SAP for ISC and Infrastructure Technologies

Working level understanding for tools like ANAPLAN, MII, Cloud computing, Windchill etc.

In depth knowledge of IT Infrastructure

Reporting and Analytics skills

Familiarity with IT tools and technologies.

IT Service Management—ITIL

Cloud Experience – AWS, GCP etc.

Experience in Networks, servers (HPC, cluster computing etc.) and Linux Administration

Infrastructure Global alignment : Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) being enterprise wide and global function, there is an alignment with Global EIS leader from Governance and standardization perspective.
