We are looking for a Technical Lead in Monitoring domain with a strong background in Infrastructure and Portfolio Management Monitoring to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the monitoring team in providing monitoring solutions for our clients’ infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement and maintain infrastructure and application monitoring solutions using industry-leading tools such as AppDynamics, DataDog, New Relic, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insight.

Work with Developer teams to include monitoring as part of application development

Understand the critical functionality users care about for your supported applications design monitoring from the user perspective.

Understand the SLOs and SLIs for critical services and use them to inform how these services should be instrumented.

Carefully design alerts and notifications to minimize noise and reduce MTTR with early detection and escalation.

Lead a team of monitoring engineers and provide technical guidance and direction

Setup monitoring of containerized applications such as Kubernetes using Prometheus, Grafana and Elastic Search.

Develop and maintain effective documentation of monitoring solutions, procedures, and runbooks.

Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure successful integration of monitoring solutions into the overall technology stack.

Work with stakeholders to identify monitoring needs and requirements.

Automating Application testing using Automation tools like Selenium and RPA.

Enable Synthetic monitoring

Requirements:
At least 8+ years of experience in infrastructure and application monitoring with experience in metrics, logs, real-user experience, and application performance monitoring

Experience working with OTEL and client-side telemetry a plus

In-depth knowledge and experience with industry-leading monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, DataDog, New Relic, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insight.

Experience with monitoring containerized applications such as Kubernetes using Prometheus, Grafana and Elastic Search.

Experience working with DevOps and Agile methodologies

Experience leading a team of technical professionals.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Experience in financial services, healthcare or legal industries is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Cloud certification such as AWS, Azure or GCP is preferred.

Knowledge of shell scripting and Python is required.
