Builds and maintains strong relationships with IT Operations service suppliers; acting as a liaison between internal staff and the BU internal customers
Provides leadership, strategy and direction for the ITSM implementation initiatives across the Cloud Operations organizations. This includes the operations, support and implementation processes of multiple geographically dispersed company locations
Provides leadership and support for all compliance and audit initiatives, including identification of optimization opportunities using automation and reuse
Provides leadership and support for all DBA operations and support activities in the environments including identification of optimization opportunities using automation and reuse
Drives the operations metrics that is required to govern ITSM processes globally
Partner with ITO leadership to apply standard solutions and processes
Provides transparent communication on both a strategic and an operational level to BU and GBS personnel
Provides direct leadership to Cloud Operations support personnel (both internal and third party) in the performance of configure, deploy, support and troubleshoot related responsibilities
Establishes common Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Cloud Operations
Creates and maintains global service catalog to better meet business needs with clearly defined SLA’s and SLO’s
Develops, shares, and leverages best practices across Cloud Operations Support services organization
Monitors the effectiveness of the delivery of Cloud Operations Support services using metric based KPI’s and implements process revisions to drive continuous improvement
Advocates and drives the adoption of common operational standards in the Cloud and Database environments in partnership with technology colleagues across the organization.
Demonstrates ‘Automation First’ mindset and drives operational automation to improve quality, efficiency and agility
Works with GBS peers and Divisions on GBS’ vision and strategy plan, as well as the technology budget
Assures IT Operations Support services are reliable, efficient, and resilient in response to business needs
Facilitates a capacity planning process to cloud capacity with Business Unit demand and identify consumption reduction opportunities to minimize costs
Ensures Standard Operating Procedures and deployed configurations are consistent with security policies and high availability service level objectives
Provides for accurate and complete configured item data and implement enterprise CMDB
Establishes regular operations metrics reporting and high-level dashboard of availability and performance levels in all WK’s Cloud environments
Vendor and 3rd Party Supplier Engagement:
Interfaces with vendors to establish IT Operations services for cloud environments
Monitors SLA’s and IT Operations engineers performance in delivery of assigned tasks
Provides guidance in the development and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures used to deliver IT Operations Engineering services
Will work closely with the suppliers and GBS Architecture and Engineering to develop potential new services for use within traditional and cloud environments.
Drives common GBS goals and initiatives as part of the Infrastructure Operations management team.
Ensures all the resources in the global hosting services organization adhere to GBS standard time tracking and time reporting processes

Qualifications
Education:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Experience:
Minimum of 15 years’ experience information technology industry
Demonstrated 10+ years in managing organizations
Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in managing Information Technology engineers in a complex swiftly changing environment
Minimum 10+ years’ experience in the delivery of public cloud infrastructure services and database services using a shared services model
Experience and in-depth technical expertise in public cloud infrastructure & environment
Demonstrated experience in driving automation in an operations environment
Proven, successful ability to influence Technology Leadership, Product Teams and Supplier Personnel.
Able to use metrics and KPI’s to monitor the effectiveness of IT Operations performance and identify areas for further improvement.
Direct operational leadership experience with public cloud technologies and database technologies is required
Knowledgeable in current technology trends including the impact of cloud and operations automation on IT Operations, Dev/Ops and Service Delivery
Exhibited operational experience, preferred within a global environment.
Experience leading teams of delivery personnel, reflecting a history of successful project execution.
Proficiency in demand management and capacity forecasting with the ability to develop cost effective plans to meet changing business needs and identify savings opportunities.
Must have strong communications and relationship skills with the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership.
Experience in managing capacity of services and the components to deliver agreed Service Level targets in an efficient and effective manner;
Contribute and validate the disaster recovery plans, control the periodic tests and execute in case of DR
Experience in managing the hardware and software lifecycle under control the obsolescence and the security compliance
Strong analytical and business management skills
Proficiency in process formulation and communication
Experience with mergers and acquisitions activities
