Key job functions include :

Testing, evaluation, and implementation of hybrid cloud solutions that use various hypervisors, cloud platforms, and infrastructure as code frameworks.
Design and perform complex testing in various areas such as object storage, file/block to object storage, and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
Create and document detailed test plans, methodologies, performance briefs, Implementation Guides and other technical documents that detail the configurations, test methodology results and Best Practices.
Assist cross functional teams in troubleshooting and problem identification
QA and storage interoperability testing.
Excellent documentation skills in creating test procedures, workflows, diagrams, and customer facing white papers
Possess the ability to work and communicate with the senior leadership team.
Coordinate with manager on deliverables.
Manage and track project related issues.
Produce relevant communications to stakeholders.
Give technical presentations internally, and across different functional units.

Preferred skillset :

Basic understanding of FC and iSCSI protocol.
2-3 years of in-depth knowledge and hands on experience in VMware ESXi, vSphere, vSAN and other virtualization products like Hyper-V, KVM etc.
Extensive hands-on experience with any one public cloud environment like AWS, Azure, or GCP. Any cloud Certification is preferred.
Knowledge on hybrid cloud and AWS storage gateway.
Ability to work independently, dealing with day-to-day problems with minimal oversight
Resource management and allocation to optimize results.
A team player and fast technology adoption is mandatory.

Desirable skillset :

Familiarity with enterprise storage products from Hitachi/IBM/HPE/Dell EMC/NetApp a plus.
Hands on experience with storage replication technology.
Knowledge on vSphere administration and hands-on experience on VCSA, HA cluster, DRS, Fault Tolerance etc.
Competent in Python programming with experience in test automation and interfacing with REST APIs.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
2-3 years of total work experience in Storage/SAN and/or hybrid cloud.
Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as presentation skills.
