Head of IT
Head of IT is responsible for the stable operations, accountable for end-to-end management of applications, infrastructure, and Business system to ensure efficient functioning of business operations. Define IT roadmap for the organization and oversee implementation of IT initiatives. You will lead a team of technical staff supporting our employees.
Primary Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure and Applications Management:
Drive implementation of initiative in an effective way with the help of team, vendors, and department heads without hampering continuous operations of the organization.
Ensure timely upgradation of all softwareʼs / tools to provide fast and effective services to end-users.
Maintain the IT infrastructure and network at all locations to maximize IT system uptime.
Ensure the seamless delivery of end-user computing services, NOC operations, and service desk support, meeting SLAs and KPIs.
Compliance & Security –
Work with the IT security team to ensure compliance with relevant data security and privacy regulations.
Ensure compliance to relevant standards (e.g., ISO 27001, 9001) and provision of systems to control, adequately measure and handle the risks the business faces.
Vendor Management: Identify, negotiate, and contract with external vendor for IT requirements and define the performance standards/SLA. Perform periodic reviews with the vendors to ensure that the service levels are maintained as per the defined norms.
Leadership –
Sets clear expectations and stretched targets towards the teams and team members that are realistic, measurable and achievable based on the vision and strategy
Actively tracks the team budget for purchasing, staffing, and operations.
Required Skills / Knowledge
Proven experience (12+ years) in leading and managing IT teams, including End User Computing, Service Desk & Network teams
Strong technical knowledge on Microsoft/GSuite, Network technology ( Switches, Firewall, VLAN etc), Perimeter and Endpoint Security
Use resources to best advantage, by collaborative working with all Team Leaders.
Manage vendors: Contracting / negotiating with local vendors Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, streamline operations, and implement best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels
