TECHNICAL SUPPORT ASSOCIATE
We are currently seeking applicants for Technical Support position to join our Pune office. Qualified candidates possess the skills detailed below and relevant work experience.
The Technical Support Associate handles the work activities of handling 1st level IT support calls from all ZS Offices worldwide and maintain a user environment consisting of laptop and desktop computers running the standard suite of business applications. The position requires strong work experience and the ability to work independently in each of the following functions:
Responsibilities:
Trouble shooting IT related problems over phone and remotely
VPN Related problems and troubleshooting RSA Soft token
Handling IP telephony related issues
Troubleshooting Active Directory and Exchange related issues
Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications.
Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
Supporting the roll-out of new applications and softwares.
Setting up new user accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues.
Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with users, vendors and other professionals.
Effective management of relationship with external partners ensuring continued service delivery and customer satisfaction
Maintaining and reviewing documentation including records of purchase items, costs, deliveries and inventories.
Handling File server and file share access
Troubleshooting ZS Application related issues
Complete some administrative tasks, such as tracking help desk call process, assisting with organizational efforts and asset management
Flexible with work timings and shifts.
Travel as needed by projects
Qualifications:
Strong oral and written communication skills
Professional appearance and demeanor, with ability to exercise good judgment and discretion
Engineer with good academic background along with MCP/MCSA or ITIL certifications.
A+ certification or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator
Prior work experience as a Technical support associate is preferred.
Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving
Strong customer service skills.
1-2 years of relevant experience in customer support.
