Primary Responsibilities:
Leads one or more IT teams who are responsible for designing, developing, implementing, testing or maintaining applications and/or integrations.
Responsible for the creation and management of technical standards and methodologies around areas such as: enterprise, application and/or infrastructure architecture, application and/or integration development (including testing, documentation & deployment), and systems and/or infrastructure automation.
Responsible for ensuring prioritized technology efforts are staffed and executed using the appropriate methodologies and standards. Effectively identifies, manages, mitigates and escalates risk to all levels of management.
Responsible for building and maintaining business partnerships including collaboration around expectations and deliverables for IT technology efforts.
Maintains an awareness of and researches new technologies, trends, architectures and implementation techniques as they relate to the delivery of applications, integrations and services.
Keeps group members informed, manages administrative aspects of the department including personnel matters. Sets performance goals/standards/objectives for the team. Performs all management responsibilities for the team including coaching, and fostering growth and development.
Additional Responsibilities
Prioritizes, plans and tracks development and testing processes.
Manages simultaneous work efforts using methodologies that provide consistent and timely deliveries. Effectively resolve resource and timeline constraints based off business need.
Ensures appropriate communications, change management and delivery of IT projects in accordance with corporate goals and objectives. Manage system change and enhancement request demand.
Prepares long- and short-range plans for systems development & maintenance, production support, technical debt and resourcing.
Manages 3rd party technical integration efforts and vendor relationships, when necessary.
Works with the Architects, Application and/or Systems Developers and Project Teams to direct the design and implementation of all assigned systems.
Works with other managers to coordinate project/goals of division.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (Preferred)
Experience of leading a development team.
ServiceNow Admin / Dev Certified
Experience in ServiceNow Application maintenance including version upgrades.
Relevant experience as a developer and experience in Develop, Design ServiceNow solutions –in a variety of modules (ITSM, GRC, VRM, CSM, CMDB, ITOM, etc.)
Coding experience in ServiceNow scripting / JavaScript / REST / Webservices / Angular JS etc.
