This position is responsible for IT Network Administration and operations.
Maintaining operating system updates, antivirus updates in all the desktops and servers
Installation, configuration and maintenance of Desktops, servers, peripheral equipment and software including tolerable service supports for network infrastructure, within established process, standards and guidelines.
Work with the Service Desk Analyst in responding to and resolving incidents received via the Service desk (Helpdesk). Ensure that agreed SLAs are achieved and maintained.
Perform troubleshooting within bounded escalation area to diagnose Networking (Switches, firewall, and router), Desktops and Server problems.
Explain technical details or procedures to customers in simple terms and a concise manner.
Document the execution and resolution of service request and incident through applicable standard form/s.
Recommend and/or perform upgrades to hardware and peripherals.
Train and orient end-users on the use of hardware and software.
Work with other members of the IT Team and business function to ensure operational continuity of business systems and applications.
Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems.
Assist IT key person or business function in assessing hardware and software to determine specifications for purchases.
Perform periodic inventory of hardware and software.
Assist in other functional areas of IT Department as required.
Network administration.
Implementing and maintaining IT security policies.
Managing Network Switches,Firewall.
Hardening of all Network Devices
Firmware upgradation of all Network Devices.
Troubleshoot and resolve Network issues
Maintaining all IT assets.
