Job Description:
Position Title: Snaplogic ETL Developer
Location: Bangalore, India
Experience: Overall 7+ years of experience in IT
Responsibilities:
Working closely with business & IT stakeholders and understand ETL requirements and build end to end ETL migration processes using Snaplogic
Designing and building scalable Snaplogic solutions
Writing complex SQL queries, Unix shell commands and Java Script
Testing and troubleshooting problems in ETL system designs and processes
Analyzing and improving existing ETL approaches and solutions
Providing Architectural Guidelines
Experience and expertise other ETL tools, preferably DataStage
Expected to be part of the ideation, design, and deployment of ETL/Snaplogic solutions
Required Skillsets:
Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience, should be able understand and develop complete ETL migration process
Strong business analysis and requirement definition background in the areas of data integration (ETL) using Snaplogic
Excellent hands-on knowledge in Snaplogic and developing complex ETL jobs
Strong ETL and database (Oracle or Snowflake) concepts
Ability to build, manage, and deploy SnapLogic incremental and reusable data integration pipelines
ETL development experience with SnapLogic with a focus on connecting with REST & SOAP API’s for Inbound/Outbound integrations
Experience with SnapLogic pipelines writing and reading JSON.
Experience with JDBC, Snowflake, Azure, Salesforce, Redshift, Zuora, S3 Snaps
Experience with expression library, patterns, error pipelines & nested pipelines
Knowledge to build complex mappings with JSON path expressions, Python scripting
Experience with scheduling tools like Tidal, Autosys/Control-M
Experience in using processing snaps like mapper, unique, Aggregate, sort and join
Experienced with implementation methodologies and best practices (e.g. Waterfall, Agile)
Experience in establishing criteria for data use/test cases
Experience defining and implementing error and exception handling strategies
Ability to balance multiple projects and work both independently and as part of a team
Strong verbal and written communication skills, presentation, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and conceptualization skills
Strong leadership, customer focus and influential skills
Ability to work independently as well as being a collaborative team member
Able to manage own duties including setting priorities
The ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
Experience in Cloud Migration Projects & Reverse Engineering
Good Understanding of Cloud Concepts
Having good knowledge of Caterpillar policies, standards and procedures, with broad understanding of Caterpillar’s organization is a plus
Work Timings – 1:00PM to 10:00PM IST (Approx.)
