Risk and Control Objective

IT Project Management of projects planned/assigned as part of MTP SI pipeline for Barclaycard Germany, ensuring appropriate coordination with relevant teams towards successful delivery and release
What will you be doing?
Manage project Risks, Issues, Assumptions and dependencies
Ensure project meets all governance and compliance norms
Track project efforts and costs against estimates
Work with Change management for effective delivery
Coordinate with release management and supporting teams for successful delivery and release.
Ensure that all stakeholders are communicated with project status, risks etc.
Conduct project meetings at regular interval
Main duties.
Lead and ensure all team delivery abide to the 7 principles of system development standard
Manage performance goals and business needs of the organization
Plan, define and review projects for proper implementation and migration to service mode
Plan, develop and implement new systems and ensure proper functioning of existing systems
Resolve any issues and take preventive actions and maintain project logs, documents and status reports
Co-ordinate with management in developing long term plans for application development
Collaborate with application management on defining project objectives, resource planning, allocation and support for projects
Lead and participate in all phases of application development lifecycle
Provide maintenance and support for all application development lifecycle
Maintain good technical knowledge to provide direction to the development process
Ensure expense are within budget limits as per project/organization standards
Responsible for monitoring project and excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels within the organization
Review and innovate changes to internal processes or creating greater value for customers in terms of products, services and business system with increasing internal effectiveness and efficiency

Good command over SDLC project lifecycle.
Banking/credit card knowledge
Has a wide network within the organization and shows integrity while addressing challenging situations;
Experienced at implementing or managing function-wide risk management processes and tools;
Actively identifies and mitigates risks while weighting the pros and cons of various risk management models;
Creates and updates own budget with budgeting software tools, can explain variances and make adjustments;
Experienced at sizing workload and resources in multi-areas projects; extensive experience in commercial negotiation
