Job Description
The Sr. Technical Support Analyst will report to the Enterprise Technology Team for US Hospital Products assisting with multi-platform hardware & software implementations & interoperability project support pre and post go live across the US. The Sr. Technical Support Analyst will be responsible for assisting customers with technical issues or questions relating to Baxter’s hardware and software products. This position is regarded as a Level 3 subject matter expert
Technical Support Responsibilities:
Answer customer inquiries via multi-channel communication e.g. phone, email etc…
Create, update and complete tickets within Baxter systems for customer support calls
Troubleshoot technical issues, offer solutions, and escalate when appropriate
Complete all documentation requirements within the Baxter system related to ticket details
Provide deployment guidance and technical troubleshooting for HoloLens Augmented Reality Partnership Advantage program
Provide upgrade services supporting product portfolio (DoseEdge, Exactamix, Abacus)
Perform as Level 3 lead during triage of software issue remediation (DoseIQ/ IQ Enterprise)
Troubleshoot PostgressSQL database issues on IQE gateway servers
Provide support on third party risk assessments
Required Qualifications
4+ years in a previous technical support role
Previous experience with medical device integration
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Keen sense of attention to detail
Ability to troubleshoot wireless networking issues
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating system administration
Familiar with PostgressSQL
Familiar with Virtualized environments
Familiar with client-server architecture
Familiar with container platforms (Kubernetes, Docker)
Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Google, Azure)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of clinical interfaces using healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR, CCD, CCDA, HISP, Direct Messaging, and/or HIE platforms).
Ability to work rotational shifts 1st, 2nd, & 3rd including weekends
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledgeable on 802.11x protocol
CompTIA A+
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Cloud certification (AWS, Azure, Google)
Previous experience with Cisco & Aruba networks
Previous experience with VMware
Previous Healthcare IT experience
Education
College degree in Computer Science or Information Systems related area preferred
