Job Description: The Desktop Support Specialist will provide support for local and remote clients/users. Candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills in English. Should have customer service skills.
Candidate must have very good understanding of Microsoft, Linux, MacOS operating system, technologies, LAN/WAN routing, TCP/IP, OSI model, PowerShell, basic commands (windows, and Linux).
Candidate must be strong in updating and upgrading operating system and applications. He/she should be able to troubleshoot issues that end users encounter.
Candidate will support end users with software and hardware issues. He/she must be able to analyze, troubleshoot, research, track and resolve the issues and when required escalate the issues.
Candidate should have experience of support ticketing system. Candidate should be willing to work in US time zones.
