Position Purpose
We have a requirement for a senior business analyst with awareness on front/ middle/back office in investment banking and Risk & PnL systems. Need to work closely with developers and application users in V&RC IT team to cover target deliverables in application road map
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
Work with different stakeholders across region to understand business requirements and priorities.
Create functional specifications for each user story with user signoff following target governance process and fulfilling definition of ready for developers and testers.
Owning application user stories backlog and ensuring frequent backlog grooming sessions to keep list up to date for upcoming sprints.
Owning product and organizing stakeholder communication frequent basis to present status of deliverables and priorities in queue.
Owning application knowledge library (wiki) and keep up to date in line with enhancements in each sprint.
Contribute to release testing (UAT / Pre-Prod) and coordinating with users in signoff confirmation.
Provide functional assistance to team members.
Participate in peer reviews of Functional Specs.
Conduct user training sessions on applications and functionalities
Train juniors in team in order to ensure knowledge sharing and backup.
Provide functional support for analyzing production & non-production issues whenever required.
Ensure all activities carried-out and solutions proposed, planned and delivered are compliant with Organization and Project policy guidelines.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Mandatory Skills:
Experience as a Business Analyst in an IT company in the Finance domain working with users in capturing and analyzing business requirements.
Experience in coordinating with stakeholders across different geographical locations in requirement analysis and progress reporting.
Ability to explain business requirements easily and translate them into functional requirements with needful Functional specification documentation including test scenario specifications.
Strong analytical and investigative skills – Understand and efficiently analyze information/requirements from multiple sources
Knowledge of Capital Market activities & Financial Products (especially BOND, CDS, Futures, Futures Options, IR Products) in the context of Risk & PnL
Knowledge of Trade Life Cycle and familiarity with financial products Data and cash flows.
Understanding of Front Office/Middle Office/ Back office functions.
Sufficient knowledge in SQL to retrieve and analyze data
Good Communication and Team Player
Optional Skills
Knowledge on Python, Excel, Visio would be a plus
