Reports to: Desktop Support Supervisor
Position Narrative (Overview):
The IT HelpDesk is the central point of contact for all IT related service requests. As a member of the IT HelpDesk Team, you will work in a fast-paced environment providing exceptional customer service and technical support to all Engagees. The IT Desktop Support Technician is responsible for resolving support requests as well as meeting customer satisfaction and continuous service delivery demands.
Core Responsibilities
Triage and respond to end-user issues via video conferencing, remote screen shares, telephone, chat or HelpDesk tickets
Provide remote installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair for end-user, office and conferencing hardware, software and peripherals
Record, track, update and escalate technical issues through established Jira ticketing system
Maintain and update knowledgebase processes, procedures, inventory and configuration documentation
Provide technical guidance and training to end-users
Work with HelpDesk Supervisor to escalate unresolved issues and ensure visibility of ongoing issues
Report customer feedback to HelpDesk management
Assist with IT HelpDesk projects as needed
Must-have Requirements
1-3 years previous experience as a Desktop Support and or Service Desk tech
Basic networking and hardware skills
Strong Microsoft Office and Windows Operating systems skills
Outstanding customer service skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
