About this role
BT is going through a transformation – and data is at the heart. We’re simplifying our products, transforming our customer journeys, modernising our IT and networks and decommissioning legacy platforms. The Data & Analytics Enablement Tribe is underpinning this transformation by creating data as an asset – on par with our network, people and brands. The Tribe’s mission is to enable Value Stream tribes to access data and use data and analytics capabilities powerfully, by addressing the key challenges they face: feature-rich and scalable technologies; data availability and quality; the skills needed to make the most of it; and end to end governance
Within the Data & Analytics Enablement Tribe, the Master Data Management squad is responsible for standing up and operating the OneBT MDM (Master Data Management) Hub that is initially focused on mastering Legal Entity, Contact and consent records. The MDM Solution Architect is responsible for defining the strategic MDM architecture that will ensure that the OneBT MDM Hub becomes the single source across Enterprise and Global Services for Legal Entity, Contact and Consent records.
You’ll have the following responsibilities
Solution/Information Architecture: strong solution architecture skills with specific experience in designing data / information centric solutions.
Master Data Management: expert in the master data management domain with clear understanding of the full MDM capabilities needed to deliver a comprehensive MDM platform. Should also have a good appreciation of the tooling currently available as well as future advancements.
Cloud skills: understanding of cloud native capabilities needed to integrate the OneBT MDM platform into both source and consuming systems.
Stakeholder management: – ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring any proposed MDM architecture meets their needs.
